INTRODUCTION

At Emorvia, we believe users should have full control over their personal information and account management. This Account Deletion Policy explains how users can permanently delete their account and what happens to their data after deletion.

By using Emorvia, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

USER-INITIATED ACCOUNT DELETION

Users may permanently delete their account at any time through the application by following these steps:

Profile Dashboard → Edit Profile → Delete Account

EFFECT OF ACCOUNT DELETION

Once an account deletion request is confirmed:

  • Access to the account will be permanently removed.
  • Profile information will no longer be accessible.
  • Active subscriptions or services associated with the account may be terminated.
  • Access to conversations, purchases, and platform features may be lost.

The account cannot be used to access Emorvia services unless a new account is created.

DATA REMOVAL

Following account deletion, Emorvia will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account.

This may include:

  • Name and profile information
  • Contact details
  • Account preferences
  • User-generated profile data

However, certain information may be retained where necessary for:

  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Fraud detection and prevention
  • Security investigations
  • Enforcement of legal rights
  • Resolution of disputes
  • Financial and accounting record requirements

Such retained information will only be kept for the period required by law or legitimate business purposes.

DATA RETENTION

Certain non-personal, aggregated, or anonymized information may continue to be retained after account deletion for purposes including:

  • Analytics and reporting
  • Platform performance monitoring
  • Security and fraud prevention
  • Product development and system improvements

This information cannot be used to personally identify the deleted user.

IRREVERSIBILITY OF DELETION

Account deletion is permanent.

Once the deletion process has been completed:

  • The account cannot be restored.
  • Deleted profile information may not be recoverable.
  • Access to previous conversations, transactions, or account history may be permanently lost.

Users should carefully consider their decision before confirming account deletion.

SECURITY

Deleting your account helps ensure that your personal information is no longer available through the platform.

Emorvia implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to securely process account deletion requests and protect user information during the deletion process.

LIMITATIONS

Emorvia is not responsible for:

  • Information voluntarily shared with Providers or other users before account deletion.
  • Information copied, saved, or recorded by other users before deletion.
  • Content that must be retained to comply with legal obligations.
  • Information shared outside the Emorvia platform.

Users are encouraged to exercise caution when sharing personal information during conversations.

POLICY UPDATES

Emorvia reserves the right to modify or update this Account Deletion Policy at any time.

Any updates will become effective upon publication within the platform or on our website. Continued use of Emorvia following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
