What is Emorvia?

Emorvia is a platform that connects you with compassionate, trained listeners for non-clinical emotional support. We provide a safe, judgment-free space for you to talk about whatever is on your mind.

Who are the listeners?

Our listeners are empathetic individuals from diverse backgrounds who have undergone our active listening training. They are not licensed therapists, but rather compassionate peers dedicated to hearing your story and offering emotional support.

Is this therapy?

No. Emorvia is strictly for non-clinical emotional support and active listening. If you are seeking medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment for mental health conditions, we strongly encourage you to consult a licensed healthcare professional.

When should I use Emorvia?

You can use Emorvia anytime you feel the need to talk through your thoughts, vent about your day, manage everyday stress, or simply experience the comfort of being truly heard by another human being.

How do sessions work?

Sessions take place via secure voice, video, or text chat directly within our platform. You simply browse our listener directory, find someone you connect with, select an available time, and join the session link when it’s time.

How long is a session?

A standard session lasts for 45 minutes, allowing enough time to settle in, share your thoughts deeply, and wind down comfortably.

Can I choose my listener?

Yes, absolutely. We believe connection is personal. You can browse listener profiles, read their bios, check their languages and specialties, and select the person who feels right for you.

What if I don't feel a connection with my listener?
That’s completely okay. Finding the right fit can take time. You are never obligated to stick with a listener, and you can easily book your next session with someone else.
 
How can I pay?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as popular digital wallets and UPI (for users in India). Payments are processed securely through our trusted payment partners.

What are the session prices?

Session prices vary slightly based on the listener’s experience level, generally ranging between ₹299 and ₹999 per session. We strive to keep support affordable and accessible.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. You can cancel up to 24 hours before a session for a full refund. We also offer refunds if a listener misses a session or if there are significant technical failures on our platform.

Is my conversation confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is a core pillar of Emorvia. Listeners sign strict confidentiality agreements, and your conversations are never recorded, recorded, or shared, except in rare cases where there is an imminent threat to life.

What data do you collect?

We collect only the basic information needed to run your account (like your email and name). We do not collect or store clinical data or detailed session notes.

How do I delete my account?
You can permanently delete your account at any time from your Account Settings page. This action will securely erase your personal data from our active systems.

 

Can I remain anonymous?

Yes. While you need an email to create an account, you can use a nickname or pseudonym on your public profile that listeners will see during sessions.
